Feed your demons.

the story

Demons at the table

In Japanese folklore, oni are red-skinned demons: frightening, loud, and in many villages, protectors. Ours is softer. He is a little cat-shaped oni who guards the kitchen and makes sure nobody leaves hungry.

Red for the oni and for action. Black for the broth after eighteen hours. Cream for the noodles and the paper they are served on.
